Misconceptions
On many sites, we have seen things such as lens flare, smoke, human shadows in IR light, and dust moving in IR light all mistaken as spiritual activity or ghostly presence. While all these can sometimes produce some unexpected and even fantastic results, they are easily -- and scientifically -- explainable.

Matrixing is a term first used by TAPS and they describe it best by saying: "Matrixing is the human mind's natural tendency to find familiar shapes in complex shapes or colors. In other words finding a face in the shapes and shadows of a collection of objects. Like finding a dragon in the clouds, a face on Mars, or even Jesus in a Butter Dish!
